Diane "Colvario" Van Meter

Diane was a member of the Manchester Eagles Board and she was also a cheerleading coach.  Diane was also the mother of two of the Manchester Eagles Players Jimmy who was on the Pee Wee Team and Lucas who was on the Mitey Mites. 

            Diane became ill last year but that did not diminish her focus, dedication, or determination to her boys, the Eagle’s board or coaching.  Diane was in and out of the hospital and when she wasn’t in the hospital she was on the field trying to do her part.  It was expressed to her many times to take it easy but Diane felt compelled to be with her boys and the cheerleaders. 

            On September 2, 2007 Diane passed away.  Her wonderful personality, love and dedication are deeply missed by her sons, Jimmy and Lucas and the entire Manchester Eagles Organization.  It takes a special person to give so much of her self.  Diane is one of those special people that gave all of her self until the end.
